British rider Oliver Townend, who has previously been on team gold in the European Championships for three years, is 2019 winner of the Landrover Kentucky Three Day Event. He and his horse Cooley Master Class led the competition from start to finish adding no penelties to their dressage score.
Prior to this year, the sport had only gone up to the level of "4 star." This year however, the new level of 5 star will be added which will change how each level is. Here is a list of the levels for 2019:
